I was never much of a Zombie fan until I discovered ‘The Walking Dead’ television series, I much prefer Vamps, Werewolves etc. I’ve not really read many Zombie books, but it was nice to be able to read something in a genre that I love, but different at the same time.

Dying To Live & Fighting To Live’ are books 1 & 2 in author C.M Wright’s The Zombie Overload series. They’re not your average Zombie books either. They’re funny, witty, action packed and addictive.

Canada is not a complex character. She is a mother and a wife. One that will kick your ass if you try and hurt her family. She has the characteristics that I think we all dream of displaying if we were ever in the same situation. Canada is the kind of character that most women will probably connect with is some way or another.

The story flowed well and you can almost imagine it being a spin off of TWD, but with a little more of a comedic touch to it. It’s obvious that C.M Wright loves this genre and knows how to pull her audience in and keep them following the story until it ends. It’s not darkly disturbing but neither is it a sunshine and rainbows story.

I definitely wouldn’t say no to reading any more of C.M’s work. She doesn’t go OTT with descriptions, her writing style is very easy to follow and her characters are not all that different from you or I.

D’eBook’s 4 shamrock review

So, how do I rate this Dying To Live & Fighting To Live? Well, it entertained me. It made me laugh. I will say this, I did expect it to be a bit more gruesome and I was a little disappointed with that aspect, which made me rate this a four Shamrock read 😀
