Book Review: “Matt Archer: Bloodlines” by Kendra C. Highley

Matt-Archer-Bloodlines-800 Cover reveal and PromotionalI received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

“No, no, no, no, no” That’s what I was mentally screaming when I got to the end of this book. Why? Well, because I NEED to know how this whole thing ends and I thought “Bloodlines” would be the ending. That’s what I get for thinking LOL.

Matt has faced a hell of a lot more in two years than most adults would ever face PERIOD and he is coping a lot better than most adults would; at least, he’s not broken down into a quivering, sniveling wreck just yet.

Some old characters exit the series in this book and some new ones arrive, keeping Matt and his friends (and the reader) on their toes. Matt still suffers from feeling guilty over deaths, in the past and present, but he has more focus this time round.
Over this whole series, he’s forged a link with Tink, his knife spirit and boy, is she something else 😀
There’s a lot of surprises in store for the reader yet again but they blend magically into the tale of Matt Archer and those that support him 100%.

I recommended these books to my 14 year old and I would urge others to do the same. Any young teen would love this series. It’s got Monsters, teen heroes, witches, and Green Berets and the CIA, what’s not to love?

Another 5 star rating for Matt Archer: Bloodlines and kudos to K.C Highley for an absolutely fantastic job well done on writing this series and making it such a compelling read in all four books so far.
