As I might have mentioned somewhere in this blog, at one point or another, the lovely Lindy Spencer introduced me to an author whose work she loved; and so I ventured forth into the worlds created by Justin Osborne. You can read my chat with him about one of his books here.
About the Author:
Justin Osborne was born and raised just outside of Toronto, Canada. From a very young age, Justin was enamored with Horror movies and his mother’s collection of Stephen King books.
The book report he’d done on Cujo in the 3rd grade was ‘unsettling’ to his teacher. In high school, Justin tried his hand at creative writing and wrote two short stories for English class, this time his teacher was impressed. One of those short stories entitled ‘Guilt’ will be getting an overhaul for the upcoming collection ‘Antholocaust’.
In 1997, Justin relocated to Northern California. In 2010, Justin began hand writing the first draft of “EPIC: Legacy”, his first novel. In the last 3 years, Justin has completed the 1st and 2nd books of the “EPIC” series, as well as 6 short stories, 5 of which were included to the ‘Teaser’ for ‘Antholocaust’ entitled ‘Bitter Fruit’. In 2014, Justin plans on finishing the 3rd EPIC book, “EPIC: Reunification”, and “Antholocaust”, and perhaps a few more surprises.

This book is one I have had the pleasure of reading and its sequel is sitting on my Kindle waiting for me to read it.

Deacon’s quest to get help for the injured faerie lands him in the village of Fen Glennan, where his uncle is a hero and he is an untrusted outsider from the horrific world of Abaddon (Earth). During his stay, He finds a few friends, a few enemies, and perhaps even love.
Upon his return to Earth, Deacon is forced to carry on his uncles ‘legacy’ and fulfill his dying wish, save the people of Fen Glennan and as many in Avalon as he can before it’s destruction.

Born and raised just outside of Toronto, Canada, Justin now resides in Northern California with his wife Kathy and their four children.
Justin began writing to alleviate boredom at his humdrum job as a security guard atop his lonely mountain.
